Meet the Team

ALAN & PAT WILLS (Senior Pastors)

Alan & Pat found Jesus as their personal Saviour in l977 after a life-changing personal encounter with Jesus. In l988 they were called into full-time ministry at Citipointe COC, where they served for 5 years as area pastors over 900 people. In l993 they were commissioned to pioneer a COC church on the north side of Brisbane, which became a reality in l995. The church was re-named Bridgeman COC at the opening of the new church building in 2003. 

Alan has conducted pastors conferences and evangelistic crusades in many nations of the world. He serves the movement as an Area Chairman, and is also on the COC International Oversight over-seeing the work in Malaysia.

Alan is an evangelist with a passion for the lost and a desire to see the church walk an uncompromising path for the sake of the gospel. He carries a spirit of revival and sees the presence of God manifest powerfully in his ministry. He has a desire to see the younger generation released in the power and call of God upon their lives, and become a strong influence for Jesus to the unsaved community.

Alan and Pat have been happily married for 38 years and have two married daughters and four grand-children. They have served in full-time ministry in Christian Outreach Centre for 21 years.
  

ROD & MAXINE CROSS (Assistant Pastors)

Rod and Maxine have over 15 years ministry experience ranging from working in the children’s ministry, youth ministry and with families. They served as Assistant Pastors in NSW and now are excited to lead the Pastoral Care Department and Connect Groups within the life of the church here at Bridgeman.

They both have a great desire to empower people in their walk with God and to see lives healed and restored. Their genuine pastoral heart has been successful in ministering within the family element, and they have a true passion to see restoration within marriages and families. Their heart is for God’s mercy and grace to bring wholeness to the lives of people spiritually, emotionally and physically.

 

 GRANT & EMMA SHAW  (Youth Pastors)

Grant grew up in the mission field of China where his parents have been pastoring for 22 years. He then went on to become involved in ministry in the Toronto Airport Church, Canada and in Citipointe Church, Brisbane. He has worked for the Queensland Government as a youth worker and counsellor.

Today Grant leads the youth of Bridgeman Downs with passion and zeal. His heart is to see the youth grow in the Lord, reach their full God given potential and see salvations, healings and miracles as God pours out His Spirit!

 

 

MIKE KALINOWSKI (Zoo Pastor & Finance Officer)

Mike's passion and dedication for God is easily witnessed in his passion and dedication for the kids in his ministry. He strives to raise up a generation of youth equipped to preach the gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead, and be effective in the ministry field of their life.

He has a passion for growing committed leaders, and likes to teach others how they can move in their supernatural God given gifts so they can be actively involved in winning the lost back to the kingdom.

Mike, being gifted with multiple skills, has served in many different areas of church life from finance officer, to script writer, to servant… Mike will do whatever he can to further the kingdom of God on Earth.
 

 

STEPHEN & FERN TAYLOR (Bible College Dean)

Pastors Stephen & Fern Taylor have been pastors for 14 years and have served God in the local church for many years in various roles.  They are passionate to see the work of God built strongly into people's lives and to equip and train them to fulfill God's call.  Their heart is to see character growth through serving God in the local church and participating in overseas missions trips.  They love to see people's lives impacted by God's presence and to see the working of His Spirit empowering them to influence and impact their community.
